We serve you with our third episode as our journey continues. Our engagements as collaboration and research continue to quest for answers and revelations. Like how the soup is served, we partake it sumptuously- the very essence of our processes. Then we share, we learn and together we discover.

When we are broken, we are transformed into healing. Our spirit, mind, and body yearning to be renewed and restored. We seek healing but miss to ask, we ask but do not receive. Healing has always been present. A broken spirit and a contrite heart are what we need so when we ask for it, we hope for it, we receive it.

This project is led and curated by teachers and choreographers Herbert Alvarez and Ma. Elena Laniog-Alvarez. Both newly- blessed parents hail from Iloilo City. Their partnership blossomed during their years of working together with the UP Dance Company. Soup of Grace is their first independent initiative together outside any institution.
